With Pocket Bird Recorder you can make your birding notes right there in the field.  It's just as easily as writing in a notebook.
Pocket Bird Recorder is available for the Palm OS platform and for Pocket PC (Windows CE).

In the field you can record your sightings and notes, instantly see summaries of what you have seen and get a species count.  It will even tell you how many new birds you have seen.

Pocket Bird Recorder allows you to play back songs and calls which you have transferred to your own device.

When you get home your data can be transferred into Bird Recorder 32,  Wildlife Lister or your own database, no further data entry is required.
